Armor Anywhere | Armor Agent for Servers
| Armor Toolbox Landing Page Fix
Bug Fix
Some users experienced errors when accessing the Armor Toolbox landing page due to a backend query issue. This resulted in failed or incomplete page loads, making it difficult to interact with toolbox features.
We have refactored the backend logic to optimize the query responsible for loading task assignments.
With this fix in place:
The Armor Toolbox landing page now loads without error
Performance has improved across affected environments
Users can reliably access and use all toolbox features
Benefits to You
More consistent page load performance
Fewer disruptions when scheduling or managing tasks
A smoother, more reliable experience in the portal
| Improved Detection for Sub-Agent Installation Failures
Bug Fix
In certain cases, when the security sub-agent installation failed, the AMP (Armor Management Portal) incorrectly reported the health status as:
“Disabled – The customer opted out of this service”
This display issue did not display the true state of the agent and may have led to confusion or delays in troubleshooting.
What’s Changing
We’ve enhanced backend validation to ensure that the Health Status displayed in the portal accurately reflects the actual state of the sub-agent. This includes:
New Status Message Upon Installation Failure:
“Malware Protection failed to complete installation.”
Automatic Unhealthy Notification:
Systems with failed security agent installation will now trigger an “unhealthy” alert to assist with faster remediation.
Helpful Guidance Added:
A tooltip has been added to the Schedule Task page with a direct link to the pre-installation requirements:
“The agent has failed to properly install. Please check this article for additional information.”
Benefits to You
Clearer communication when agent installation fails
Faster root cause identification
